Ghana Youth Manifesto Coalition Congratulates Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment

The Ghana Youth Manifesto Coalition (GYM) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Mr. George Opare Addo on his appointment as the Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment. The coalition also commended him for successfully navigating the vetting process and officially assuming his role as Minister.
In a statement signed by the National Coordinator, Christopher Wisdom Penu, the coalition urged the Minister to prioritize pressing youth-related issues, including unemployment, youth inclusion in leadership and governance, and access to quality healthcare. The coalition emphasized the importance of tailoring solutions to address region-specific challenges to ensure a balanced and equitable response to the aspirations of Ghana’s youth.
The Ghana Youth Manifesto Coalition also called on the Minister to ensure that the voices and needs of young people are actively reflected in the development and implementation of policies and programs.
