Ghanaian forward Joseph Paintsil wins Man-Of-The-Match award in Belgium

Ghana’s Black Stars Red-hot forward, Joseph Paintsil has been named Man-Of-The-Match in his team’s victory in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League on Sunday.

The In-form attacker scored for KRC Genk in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League on at home to rivals Club Brugge KV.

The Tema Youth FC player scored the third goal of the match to help his side secure a vital home win over their rivals to inch closer to lifting the title this season.

Hans Vanaken scored the first goal of the match after just nine minutes but nine minutes later Daniel Munoz grabbed the equalizer for the home team.

Mark Mckanzie gave the home team the lead after 56 minutes of the match with a cool finish to make it 2-1 to the Blue and Whites outfit eleven minutes into the second half.

Joseph Paintsil broke away inside 83 minutes and found the back of the net from a very tight angle to make the final score 3-1 to the home team.

The 25-year-old Ghana attacker has sixteen goals and fourteen assists in 34 games this season in the 2022-23 Belgium Jupiler Pro League.
