The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Lower Manya Krobo Assembly in the Eastern Region, Simon Kweku Tetteh, on Friday showered praises on Ghana’s Ambassador to the Republic of Korea for his efforts towards the Development of the Municipality
“We appreciate you your Excellency Agyarko Dedo Kusi Difie, Ghana’s Ambassador to the Korea Republic for always thinking of how best to support the Development of Lower Manya Krobo Municipality, you have been a pillar behind the Municipal Assembly in the area of development,” he stated
The Ambassador had previously supported the Municipal Assembly with the construction of two borehole projects for Oborpah Djikiti and Akosombo Ketem.
Simon Kweku Tetteh made the statement at the Manya Krobo Senior High School, during a mini durbar to present some items procured by the Municipal Assembly in partnership with the office of the Ambassador, and Gyeonggido office of education in the Republic of Korea to the Manya Krobo Senior High School
The items include ten brand new interactive headsets together with some desktop computers with accessories and two laptop computers are to enhance effective study of ICT in the School.
The MCE emphasised that “under this ICT partnership initiative, other schools in our Municipality will in no time receive their fair share of the equipment to make teaching and learning of ICT very easy for students in the municipality”.
He called on other sons and daughters of the municipality to come on board to support the transformation agenda in the Municipality
Agnes Nanor, Headmistress of Makrosec who received the equipment at the forecourt of the Administration block on behalf of the School expressed her heart felt appreciation to the MCE and his partners, she assured of putting the equipment to proper use and under good care.
