Ghana’s Rented Press and Akufo-Addo’s WASTED Years

Marked by Corruption, Shoddy Work, Hardship and a Collapsed Economy

election2024

Dishonesty and Hypocrisy of the Media, Civil Society and the self-styled Men of god has brought Ghana to where it is because they decided to give Akufo-Addo and his appointees a free pass for their ineptitude and corruption.

Ghanaians seem to have very little or no expectations of Akufo-Addo and his Government such that there is no serious call for resignations despite their obvious abysmal performance.

Adwoa Safo and the other absentee MPs matter is trivialised by the gluttonous Media, Civil Society and men of god including the Aglow is part of the reason Ghana is Broke…

The floods witnessed instead of properly functioning drainage systems, roads turned into rivers after several sloganeering Year of Roads…

Amoako Atta is still road’s Minister?

Asenso Boakye is still at post?

Atta-Kyea is still walking free?

Ken Ofori-Atta is still Finance Minister?

Agyeman Manu is still Health Minister?

Adwoa Safo, Kennedy Agyepong and Henry Quartey are still MPs of Ghana’s Parliament?

The list goes on and on…

Land is not only the safest asset, prime lands in Ghana have become the free ticket to becoming an instant Millionaire, hiding stolen money, money Laundering and undisclosed wealth…

Stealing and willing State Lands to family members is not a new phenomenon but is one that has to be fought by all Ghanaians.

Ghana cannot afford another day of this land Looting and cover-up.

Samuel Abu Jinapor and Benito Owusu-Bio must not be allowed to investigate themselves and the corrupt Lands Commission in the Achimota Forest Landgrab or any other fraudulent Land transactions.

There must be instead, an independent body to investigate ALL STATE ACQUIRED LANDS and be given authentic documents on all State Acquired Lands, including Leases, subleases, Titles Certificates, Proof of payment of compensation among others.

The comprehensive list of all beneficiaries of State Acquired Lands must be published; complete with successors and next of kin.

The Sir John’s will scandal must neither be trivialised nor politicised because the canker runs very deep and Ghana is the ultimate loser.

Government officials and cronies have been at this for years, the JH Mensahs, Yaw Osafo Maafos, Wereko-Brobbeys, Sam Jonahs, Sam Garbrahs, Kunyehias, Abu Sakaras, Kweku Duahs; hence Ghanaians must seize this opportunity to make a positive U-Turn with a comprehensive house cleaning exercise and not entertain any cover-up.

Esi Gbedemah is still fraudulently holding on to 52acres of Prime Airport Hills land for the price of only 1acre; this happened very recently under the watch of Samuel Abu Jinapor [$51million free cash in somebody’s pocket].

Sophia Akuffo, Yaw Osafo Maafo, Mathew Opoku-Prempeh, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, Ashie Kotey and others are still holding on to fraudulently allocated State Lands because President Akufo-Addo is refusing to act despite having all the evidence, same as the Special Prosecutor.

Faceless developers are still demolishing government bungalows and busily building on the Cantonments Civil Aviation State Lands, with Samuel Abu Jinapor looking on sheepishly?

Lawrence Sackitey and his friends are still at work…

Who are the people that Samuel Abu Jinapor complains on national television, that they come to his office to pressure him to allocate them the State Acquired Lands?

Deputy Lands Minister in charge of Ghana’s fight against Galamsey, George Mireku Duker’s involvement in Galamsey and his ownership of a Galamsey Gang which was recently reported in the media as being involved in a Deadly Galamsey Gang War resulting in death has been ignored by the media and the State investigative bodies…

How can our farmlands and water bodies be safe is Galamsey is continuing sometimes with the support of the Ghana Armed Forces?

Dominic Nititul must address Ghanaians on the status of the Army-led Operation Halt and the fate of the soldiers caught on viral videos offering protection for Galamseyers to continue mining and the commanders who deployed these rogue Military personnel…

Professor Frimpong Boateng has not been investigated nor prosecuted for his role in the Galamsey missing Excavators but elevated by President Akufo-Addo to head Ghana’s Vaccine Intitute after he was caught on tape in the Party Nu Hia Sika scandal as well evidence of his son’s involvement in the Galamsey business became public…

Charles Bissiu who was caught on video receiving bribe at President Akufo-Addo’s office and Ekow Ewusi who was also busted in the Galamsey Excavators selling scandal have all been left of the hook, no investigation nor prosecution but rather being encouraged to contest for NPP party positions…

Clemence Gyato who claimed the Lands Ministry authorised him to demolish houses at Oseinaman in Adenta to park Galamsey Excavators is walking free, instead the Lands Ministry has signed an agreement with the notorious Landguard Clemence Gyato and a Vigilante group called Aynok Holdings to seize encroached State Lands and be paid with portions of the State Acquired Lands.

The illegal Agreement betwee the Lands Ministry and Clemence Gyato was confirmed on Citi FM Eyewitness News by the Executive Secretary ofvthe Lands Commission.

Stephen Ntim has not been investigated nor prosecuted for his direct role in the massive Landgrabs alleged by Kennedy Agyepong who admits to being a victim of the Stephen Ntim land Stealing and selling scam while he was head the corrupt Lands Commission hence he has been emboldened to contest for the NPP part National Chairman position…

Many skeptics say that, if anybody seriously thinks the Sir John’s Will and Achimota Forest Landgrab case will be investigated, or the media, Civil Society and the Clergy will follow it like in previous admissions, forgerrit!

Charles Owusu a confidant of Sir John and a former employee of the Forestry Commission during Sir John’s tenure, declined to confirm nor deny the Sir John’s will which incriminated him; believing that the matter will die a natural death, if he kept quiet for Benito Owusu-Bio to cover-up…

Also, Inusah Fuseini, a former Lands Minister’s refusal to confirm or deny having any land in the Achimota Forest area, a very disturbing development that must not be allowed to stand.

In the light of the Achimota Forest Landgrab and the replica Landgrab at the Cantonments Civil Aviation Land and general Looting of State Lands and Bungalows; all Presidents, Ministers, Government Appointees, Speakers and Members of Parliament, Chief Justices including Sophia Akuffo and Georgina Woode as well as judges must be investigated for their possible roles or involvement in the endemic Looting of State Lands and government Bungalows.

Civil Servants and Civil Society e.g. IEA which fraudulently annexed plot 39 at Cantonments, Multinational and Local companies e.g. Zoomlion which was among beneficiaries of the fraudulent allocation of State Lands must also be investigated by the Special Prosecutor.

It is the light of the fact that proceeds of corruption and money Laundering are hidden in landed property and dubious Land transactions instead of bank accounts to avoid detection, the State investigative bodies must commence investigation and make their findings public.

The government must take immediate steps to retrieve all the fraudulently allocated State Lands as FRAUD VICIATES ALL.

In recent years, Ghanaian journalists have been denied VISAS to world Athletic games including the Olympic games because the Pius Enam Hadzide Australia Visa Racketeering scandal was not properly investigated nor any prosecution done.

Galamsey is rife in Ghana and openly done in full view along the Accra-Kumasi highway at Anyinam opposite the Police Station because Aisha Huang was freed by President Akufo Addo who abruptly stopped the prosecution…

Ghana@60 audit scandal has been shelved because Ghana@50 folks were left to go scot free…

Ghana’s rented Press are steeped in Hypocrisy and Dishonesty to borrow the words of Kwame Sefa Kayi a member of OccupyGhana and himself a journalist.

How Multinedia, Joy FM and Citi FM continue to allow every morning, Ken Ofori-Atta’s Databank to broadcast propaganda as Credible Financial News on their networks without a disclaimer, as though it is independent and Credible information beats the imagination especially after the debt crisis it has brought Ghana…

Ghana is going nowhere, unless Ghanaians decide to turn things around and hold to account especially the Media, Civil Society and the so-called Men of god.

Until they are made to genuinely hold government to account, the impunity, ineptitude, shoddy work and hardship confronting Ghana will continue unabated.

Until current government officials are routinely investigated and prosecuted; Ghana will continue on its path of collapse…

How the former Public Procurement Authority CEO, Agyenim-Boateng Adjei was allowed to clear his bank account while being investigated goes to show where Ghana is with its fight against corruption.

The fake fight against Galamsey and the attempted stealing of ECG through PDS without any proper investigation and prosecution has led to the 334% and 148% proposed increase in water and electricity tarrifs in addition to the obnoxious COVID-19 LEVY imposed after the FAKE-FREE water, FAKE-FREE electricity and FAKE-FREE food election 2020 vote buying gimmick.

The Ghanaian Media, Civil Society and Men of god should individually explain why Ghanaians must pay the COVID-19 LEVY and the E-LEVY.

They must justify why Akufo-Addo and his David Adjaye, the Gay LGBTQI advocate and architect are still building the controversial Cathedral despite the current circumstances…

The wasted years of Akufo-Addo and Bawumia has manifested in the current hardship on Ghanaians.

God bless our Homeland Ghana…
