Ghana’s Black Stars technical team has been given a major boost with the return of star midfielder Thomas Partey ahead of the October friendly games aga Mexico and United States of America.

He’s handed the technical team of the senior national team led by Chris Hughton a major boost ahead of the friendly matched against Mexico and United States of America.

He was injured for weeks after picking up a muscle injury in early September. Partey missed the international break, where Ghana played Central Africa Republic and Liberia due to an injury setback.

But the Gunners have been handed with an injury boost following the return of the Black Stars midfielder.

The Ghana Football Association signed a contract with the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol (FMF) and Soccer United Marketing (SUM) for an International friendly against 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup champions Mexico in the United States as part of the 20th anniversary of the MexTour.

This fixture comes off on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at a venue yet to be announced.

This International friendly forms part of Ghana’s preparations for important competitions such as the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in November and the Africa Cup of Nations in January next year.

Ghana will later play the US National team at GEODIS Park in Nashville on October 17 before wrapping their tour of the United States.
