The GNFS noted the fire was contained from spreading to other offices on the second floor.

The Greater Accra Regional Commander, ACFO 1 Roberta Aggrey Ghanson, said her office received information about the fire around 9:45 and responded at the scene in less than five minutes.

Speaking to journalists while the fire was being doused, she said, “What we are seeing is a fire that has engulfed one room. It is like a store room because we have some storage items there.”
