The people of Gomoa Nyanyano have held a lavish ceremony to outdoor Nana Annan Kwesi Wiabo VII as their new chief.
The people of Gomoa Nyanyano have held a lavish ceremony to outdoor Nana Annan Kwesi Wiabo VII as their new chief.
Speaking to the media Ebusuapayin Kwame Kona said all the necessary issues which delayed the installation of Nana Kwesi Annan Wiabo VII, were addressed at Gomoa Akyempim traditional council by the paramount chief Obirifo Ahunako Ahor Ankobea II, before this wonderful event took place.
According to Ebusuapayin Kona the paramount chief gave them two weeks to carry out this task, afterwards they should bring the new chief to Akyempim traditional council.
The event, held at the old palace of Nyanyano, was witnessed by people from all walks of life in the community.
The Ebusuapayin prayed for the progress of Nyanyano and expressed hope that his emergence will bring development and attract good things to the town.
The rest of the kingmakers also gave thanks to God for this day, saying it is the almighty that crowns kings and raises leaders.
They expressed appreciation to the people of Nyanyano for making this day a success.
“The paramount chief gave us time to install a new chief, and we have done just that,” stated Ebusuapayin.
Finally the Ebusuapayin Kona appealed everyone to support the chief Nana Wiabo VII to move Nyanyano forward.
