In our communities, a silent storm is brewing as grassroots supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) feel abandoned and neglected. Despite their tireless efforts to usher in a brighter future, they’ve been left with shattered dreams and deep betrayal.

The once-vibrant spirit of these supporters has been weighed down by apathy and neglect, revealing a a very agonizing truth: they have been used and discarded by those they reposed their trust in them.

The grassroots members, the backbone of the NDC’s political machinery, have always believed in the promise of change. They rallied in the sweltering heat, marched through rain and scorching sun, and knocked on countless doors while others campaigned on empty stomach, fueling the party’s ascent to power.

However, today, it seems many are left with nothing but shattered dreams and a deep sense of betrayal, feeling that their sacrifices have been exploited.

To redeem itself, the party must reconnect with its grassroots, addressing their needs and fulfilling promises. Government appointees must mend broken bonds and restore faith in the political system.

The path to redemption lies not in empty rhetoric but in genuine action. It’s time for the NDC to acknowledge the sacrifices of grassroots members and transform their lives. Only then can the party rekindle the flames of passion and dedication that once burned so brightly in the hearts of its supporters.
