Gun go off at High Court, prison officer injured; judge runs away
The officer was part of a team of prison officers guarding some four suspects standing trial for the unlawful kidnapping of Canadian citizens
A shooting incident at the Accra High Court has left a prison officer with injuries.
The incident which happened this morning is believed to be an accidental discharge from the gun of one of the prison officers.
An officer whose identity is immediately unknown was left with serious injuries through the discharge.
