Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter “Hansi” Flick has been named the La Liga coach of the month for August.

The German professional has hit the ground running in his new club as he led Barcelona to an impressive perfect record, with four (4) wins in his first four (4) La Liga matches.

This impressive performance has solidified Flick’s position as one of the top coaches in the world and has further fueled the excitement surrounding Barcelona’s upcoming matches.

Hansi Flick joined Barca on 29 May 2024, with a contract until 30 June 2026.  On 17 August 2024, Flick won his first match as Barcelona manager, securing a 1–2 comeback victory against Valencia at the Mestalla, breaking Barcelona’s 2 year streak of 0–0 draws on matchday 1.

 

He also won his first league home match at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys on 24th August, 2024 when he beat Athletic Club 2:1. Barca recorded their 3rd La Liga win at the Estadio de Vallecas where they beat Rayo Vallecano de Madrid, S.A.D 2:1.

Just before the international break, Hansi Flick led Barcelona to an impressive 7:0 at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys against Real Valladolid Club de Fútbol, S.A.D
