Harris Church Installs New Bishop for Sefwi District

Plans are far advanced for the grand ordination of the Bishop of the Haris church of Ghana for the Sefwi District on November 17 2019.

Dubbed “installation of the cane Cross” the mantle will fall on Rev. Kwasi Nuako, and  the Venue will be the church premises at Krayawkrom in the Bodis District in the western North Region.

This installation has come about following the demise of former Bishop Rev.  K. Afful years ago .  Though there had been initial misunderstanding over his succession, peace has now reigned and all is set for the ordination of Rev. Nuako

BACKGROUND

The late Rev. Afful had been very instrumental in holding high  the banner of the Harris church for years at Krayawkrom, thereby clutching a nerve of center of excellence and recognision for the church at Krayawkrom.

His exploits had not only been outstanding but unparalled in the history of the church at Krayawkrom, thereby making  it stand out tall within the vicinity  during his reisn. It therefore came as no surprise his secession attracted controversy and confusion after his demise. However through God’s Grace, Peace, Calm and understanding have reigned for a new successor to be ordained.

REV. NUAKO

Having apostled the late Bishop faithfully, Rev. Nuako has been been in priesthood for over thirty seven (37years) and as Elijah and Elisha , the Mantle naturally fell on him after the passing away of his master, the petty squabbles notwithstanding, Like his master Rev. Nuako is also reputed with faithfulness, humity, dedication and hardwork. Besides the spriritual gift, Rev. Nuako also is gifted with healing powers, both spiritual physical and herbal. His works which abound in the area, include  asmah, deabetis impotency birth related problems rheumatism, fracture, chronic diseases which have defied medication and infact countless others.  Maintains that his works are not hidden and can be seen in verses as Matt 5:14, John 4:24 Isaiah 61:1 and Job 41:11

SIDE ATTRACTION

The Harris Church takes its origin from La Cote d’Ivore where Ghanaian Bishops attend conference as often as occasions demand and   Rev. Nuako and his late Master have not been exception.

Also the church  has followers across the west African Sub—region Subsequently, this  ordination, which also marks the 36th Convention and annual harvest, will attract Bishops from not only  Ghana, but La Cote d’ Ivoire and the West African Sub region . Also present will include, Rev. Yaw Asare, National Presiding Bishop (Kumasi) Augustine Ntori, District President (Krayawkrom), Snr. Pastor Kwaku Mpae (Kama) and Rev. Gorge Manso, District Secretary (Yawkrom)
