HOLIGANISM: NDC warns NPP over Party Properties
Following the recent pulling down of posters, billboards and other party paraphernalia belonging to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in some constituencies across the country, Chairman of the Ho West Constituency of the party, Ing. Nukomeko Tettey, has issued a press statement asking the entire membership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to stay away from billboards and posters in Ho West.
The NDC Chairman was of the view that what Ghanaians need now is development and not acts of hooliganism. According to him, Ghanaians need reduction in prices of protroleum products and not acts of lawlessness.
He maintained that, the good people of Ghana need a trusted security system and not constant attacks and harrasments on the opposition.
HE has therefore asked all members of the NDC in the Ho West Constituency to keep their eyes widely open and never be afraid or intimidated. He asked members of the NDC to be strong and courageous and always stand up for themselves and the truth.
He advised the members of the NPP to be responsible citizens and stop engaging in activities that will plunge the country into a state of chaos.
Ing. Nukomeko Tettey asked members of the NPP to see his statement as a warning to them and that, the NDC will not accept any act of indiscipline and lawlessness in Ho West Constituency.
“Stay away from our billboards, flags, posters and all other properties belonging to the NDC…. failure to do so will trigger a mass action of retaliation from the entire membership of the NDC” the statement noted, further warning that “Be warned and mindful of the consequences” he.
