Hon. Albert Kan Dapaah on the menu of assaulters and Propagandists
There has been some unprincipled and nasty propaganda that actually borders on treason against Honourable Ka Dapaah, Minister for National Security. Like I have always posited, it is not my duty nor do I fancy writing to stoke the egos of people, but the truth of matters must be exposed such that where praise is demanded it shall be given, and where admonishment is due it shall be handed without fear or favour!
A pensioner as this Honourable Minister to be called into active duty by the President because he has the solid integrity and requisite Nationalism to handle the post is an honour worth tagging on his forehead, so why would he at his age want to stage a coup? Yes, that is what some ungracious people have been running around with in a bid to have the President sack him. They are oblivious to the fact that any lie uttered in this regard with the motive of stirring some form of pandemonium has the propensity to be labelled “Treasonable”!
Albert Kan Dapaah has been one of the most successful politicians in Ghana. From the days of the gentle giant, President Kufuor, this man has not faltered in his duties as far I know. I am yet to hear of a single instance of corruption tagged to him. Neither has he created disfavour for the governments he had worked for nor is he creating any for the current President, H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo. Of course, no one is perfect, and all those that are trying in one way or the other to smear his septuagenarian reputation must bow their heads in shame. Let them who pelt others’ houses know that theirs are not safe. In other words, those who live in glass houses must not throw stones! Ayooo!
Don’t forget that most “presidential overthrows” were done by inseparable friends of Presidents, Blaise Compaore of Burkina Faso overthrowing Captain Thomas Sankara; a clear example. So those suggesting that Kan Dapaah has for a single minute entertained such thoughts of betrayal and megalomania are indeed in need of mental attention and evaluation.
The team of President Akufo-Addo is superbly crafted to bring the much needed progress and comfort to this nation impoverished, raped, ripped, and nipped by a stray number of disunited hounds in the NDC with a nice, but incompetent leader in the person of JDM, the most corrupt person, as I opine, to ever debut on Ghana’s political landscape.
So leave Kan Dapaah alone. Focus on stitching your torn integrity and failed sense of patriotism to GOD and Country. We shall not allow that the low bar mentality of some few morons derail the process of progress and unprecedented achievements of President Nana Akufo-Addo, the historic leader with a historic positive performance in all aspects of his #Change agenda, restoring to the Presidency its very purpose, while adding luster, respect, and high esteem to the reputation of Ghana.
In brief, concentrate on your lives and leave the great to continue their climb to further greatness! I implore those big boys who are playing proxy power battles using their small boys to refrain from these ploys. It is equally unholy as it is unwholesome to pick your food from the floor of dirty battles like diaper crawlers feeding off crumbs dropping from the mouths of elders as they feed nyafonyafo like hungry children with the appetite of a cow!.
