NPP sponsors unemployed Hopeson Adorye and Owusu-Bempah to Hunt for Twene Jonas in America

Questions are being asked about the presence of two loudmouth members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the United States of America roaming the streets of New York claiming they are out to hunt down one Twene Jonas, who is said to be a fierce critic of President Nana Akufo-Addo.

The presence of Hopeson Adorye and Ernest Owusu-Bempah Bonsu in the US have coincided with the President’s trip to the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, sparking questions as to who sent them to the US and for what purpose?

But the most plausible answer is that they were sponsored by the Presidency with the taxpayers ‘money to the US to deal the President critic as the US Embassy in Accra would not grant visas for the two vitriolic NPP Communicators just to go US to hunt down an individual who has been bashing the President and demanding better living conditions for Ghanaians.

Meanwhile, efforts are being made by The Herald to dig out the traveling details of Hopeson Adorye, who is unemployed and Ernest Owusu-Bempah Bonsu, who is the Head, Corporate Communications of the State-owned Ghana Gas Company.

The Herald would like to know details of their visa application, who bought them their plane tickets, who paid for their travelling allowances, their hotel bills, among others.

Hopeson Adorye, who is above 50 and a trained teacher, is married to a popular gospel musician; Gifty Osei, has a history of assaulting people he disagrees with, and many have said it was good that Twene Jonas did not make any effort to meet with him and his partner; Ernest Owusu-Bempa.

In a live video, Mr Adorye, said he had uncovered that Twene Jonas was not living the rosy life he portrays in his numerous live video sessions.

The former NPP Parliamentary aspirant for Katamanso in the Greater Accra Region, claimed to have found out that Twene Jonas, had lost his job in a car park after he was found to be yielding fake documents.

Hopeson Adorye and Owusu-Bempah, have in recent times been quite unruly, including storming Police Hospital in Accra, following the arrest and remand of the Pastor Owusu Bempah and his men over the assault of policemen who went to arrest him for threatening the life of Evangelist Patricia Oduro Koranteng, alias Nana Agradaa.

They were at the hospital demanding a handcuff on the “Pastor” while at the health facility, be removed by the police.

Handcuffing suspects to their beds to prevent them from fleeing is routine with Ghana Police Service, but the two NPP elements demanded that Pastor who prides himself as the President Akufo-Addo’s Pastor must be treated differently.

Hopeson, in his video from New York claimed that Twene Jonas was perching in the house of a Ghanaian preacher at Queens in the USA, who had demarcated a portion with plywood for Twene, adding that Twene Jonas is a pauper living in the US, and urged the general public not to be fooled by his social media rants.

On his part, Ernest Owusu-Bempah Bonsu, was also seen in another video, saying he was in the streets of New York looking for Twene Jonas, whom he claimed had fled town because of them.

He also insisted that Twene had been unemployed for some time now and even being chased by US immigration authorities to be deported to Ghana.

Twene Jonas jumped into social media prominence with live video sessions, where he tackles issues facing the average Ghanaian and national development.

He is noted for his comical, yet aggressive manner of putting leaders on their feet.

In his response, Twene Jonas posted a picture of himself holding the latest iPhone.

The “Hw3 fom” crooner was seen in a photo flaunting an iPhone believed to be the latest model of the flagship phone which was released some days ago.

He was seen drinking what looked like juice he had ordered from a restaurant while flaunting the mobile phone.

After posting the photo, Twene Jonas captioned it: “I attribute my success to this: I never gave up or took any excuse. I’m experiencing my new iPhone 13 pro max! Life is good in Heaven on Earth Didi free smoothie Glass Nkoaa Hw3 fomm We run the city” Twene Jonas’ post follows some claims that were made yesterday by Hopeson Adorye.

But Hopeson insisted that Twene Jonas, had gone into hiding in the United States.

Hopeson, who a few years ago, was sacked from the National Security Secretariat where he was seconded to Kotoka International Airport, had asserted in the video that Twene Jonas has been in the United States with wrong documents, hence the authorities are in search for him to be deported.

According to the politician, the Youth of Ghana who follow blindly must be wide awake and not be deceived by the supposed luxury being exhibited by Twene Jonas.

He further stated that Twene Jonas who has succeeded in influencing and polluting the masses in Ghana, has gone into hiding because he has been sacked from his job place, evicted from where he resides and has been left with no option than to lay low in recent times.

“We went to Rockefeller to look for him [Twene Jonas], we told that he has been fired. He lives in a wooden structure which is actually a part of a living room of a pastor and this guy goes about spewing nonsense…,” Hopeson Adorye said.
