I am richer than Ibrahim Mahama and John Mahama – Wontumi brags

According to Wontumi, Ghanaian businessman and founder of Engineers and Planners understands that he is a captain when it comes to mining and wealth.

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Bosiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has categorically stated that he is richer than former President John Dramani Mahama and his younger brother Ibrahim Mahama.

According to Wontumi, Ghanaian businessman and founder of Engineers and Planners understands that he is a captain when it comes to mining and wealth.

“I have more money than John Mahama, of course, I have more money than him. You can’t say Ibrahim Mahama has more money than me. I started working for so many years and you know.” Wontumi bragged in an interview with Kwame Adinkra on Pure FM.

He said he has held the captainship position for more than two decades.

“He himself knows that I am a captain, Ibrahim knows that I am captain and I have been a captain over 20 years. Because what he is doing you can’t really identify that this is his company but my company and workers are there to show and prove.” He said.

Ibrahim Mahama was born on 29th January 1971, owns a West African indigenously-owned mining company, Engineers and Planners. The company employs more than three thousand (3,000) Ghanaian employees.

He is also the owner of Ghanaian-owned cement processing factory, Dzata Cement Limited.

Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi was born on 1st May 1979 is a politician who is the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP.

He is the owner of Akonta Mining Limited and HANSOL Mining Limited.

He also owns pro-NPP media outlets, Wontumi Communications Limited which include Movement TV and Wontumi Radio which have offices in both Kumasi and Accra.
