I feel happy when I make impact on people’s lives – Davido
The Afrobeats artists on 28 March, inaugurated the Faculty of Music and Arts at the International University of East Africa (IUEA) in Kampala, Uganda to nurture creative talent while fostering innovation in music and the entertainment industry at large.
Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer, David Adedeji Adeleke OON, who is known professionally as Davido assured his readiness to make a good impact on people’s lives.
The Afrobeats artists of the 21st century said he feels happy when people are inspired by his positive materials to improve their lives.
In a Facebook post Davido indicated that by any means such as connecting with his supporters through his music or reaching others through his other personal endeavors to make a good life for themselves is his priority.
“Whether it’s connecting with my supporters through my music or reaching others through my other personal endeavors, i’m just happy to make an impact on people’s lives for the better.” He posted.

He is also described as a philanthropist due to his consistent generosity toward orphanages, surgeries, and student scholarships through his David Adeleke Foundation.
It was reported that the musician donated $5 000 to a music school in Rwanda in 2018 when he was on tour in the region.
Davido has recorded 4 studio albums.
His first studio album “Omo Baba Olowo” was re
leased in 2012 and obtained his second album “A Good Time” in 2019.
The “Owo Ni Koko” hit maker brought out his third album “A Better Time” in 2020 which was followed by “Timeless” in 2023.
