Ibrahim Mahama has not pardoned Owusu Bembah any outstanding payment- Aide

Aide to Ghanaian business mogul and Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) of Engineers & Planners Co. LTD, Ibrahim Mahama, Rafik Mahama, has asked the public to disregard story that went viral that the business man has invited Owusu Bembah home for tea and pardoned him an outstanding payment of two hundred and three thousand ( GHC 203, 000).

This follows a news story with the headline ‘ Ibrahim Mahama invites ‘brother’ Owusu Bembah home for tea, pardons him payment of GHC 203, 000′ which went viral and gained attention on several social media platforms.

Aide to Mr Mahama reacting to the story in a statement stated emphatically that invitation of such has not been extended to the politician after he issued his apology.

According to him, Owusu Bembah has paid so far paid one hundred and seven thousand ( GHC 107, 000) with two hundred and three thousand ( GHC 203, 000) outstanding.

Rafik in the statement revealed that further decision has not been taken in regards to the apology by the politician and the outstanding amount after the official apology was received by the business man.

 Mr Ibrahim Mahama received an official apology from Owusu Bembah and apart from that, no further decision has been taken with regards to the apology from Owusu Bembah and the outstanding amount of GHC 203, 000″ Part of the statement read.
