Ignore Your Enemies and Look Up to God – Prophet Appiah Danquah tells Christians

The Prophet - reputed for his prophetic exploits argued that just as in football, spiritual workings end at 90minutes so also is there an end to every problem.

Leader and Founder of Joy and Love Ministry International, Prophet Theophilus Appiah Danquah, has charged Christians to ignore their enemies, instead, look up to God for solutions and salvation.

He noted that concentrating on one’s enemy will rather protract his problems. Subsequently one should ignore his enemy and look up to God in the face of whatever problem one is encountering.

According to him, every problem has an expiry date, and that is an encounter with Jesus Christ for the Christians.
Prophet Appiah-Danquah made this charge during a short sermon on Friday, February 3, 2023 in the Church’s auditorium at Kwashibu Race Course in Accra.

The Prophet – reputed for his prophetic exploits argued that just as in football, spiritual workings end at 90minutes so also is there an end to every problem. He contended that workings in football do not include extra-time. In the same vein, human problems do not exceed their extra time, and that as soon as one gets an encounter with Jesus, all his problems end.

Expatiating, Prophet Appiah Danquah cited the woman with the flow of blood for 12 years and her encounter with Jesus. This ended her protracted problem. He also cited the born-blind man and his encounter with Jesus ending his nagging problem.

“In the same vein, look up to God and stop concentrating on your enemy since that will only protract your problems. When you get an encounter with Jesus, all your problems get expired,” he stated.

Respect, Believe in your Pastor

Prophet Appiah Danquah also charged his congregants to endeavour to respect and believe in their pastors since they are representatives of God on earth. He maintained that if you have a good pastor by you, you are bound to succeed in all your endeavours. However, since this cannot be achieved on a silver platter, it behoves on congregants to respect, trust and believe in their pastors. He was quick to point out that because some of them (Pastors) are down-to-earth with their members, and are not wearing big suites, shoes, among others they are looked down upon. “But that shouldn’t be the case!” he stated.

Buttressing his case further, Prophet Appiah-Danquah cited the cases of Moses and Joshua, Elijah and Elisha.

Avoid Bad Company

Prophet Appiah – Danquah also admonished his congregants to avoid bad company since that corrupts good morals. He maintained that the kind of company one keeps goes a long way to determine the kind of life he leads. It is against this background that the wise have put up the saying “Show me your friend, and I will show you your character,” he emphasized.
