The New Force Movement as part of its 2024 election manifesto has laid out a plan to create 800,000 jobs annually and eight million jobs within 10 years on coming into power.

Nana Kwame Bediako, the leader of the Movement, intends to do this through the exploitation of minerals in the various regions as well as the agricultural sector which he estimates to hold to $2.5 trillion in revenue and industrialization.

He announced on September 1, 2024, during his virtual manifesto launch.

By industrialization, he intends to add value to all mineral and agricultural production in the country for exportation.

According to him, Ghana’s heavy import economy is absorbing and expanding other countries’ economies and creating jobs for their citizens at its own expense and therefore his resolve to make the country industrial.

Through this, he asserted that the country would realise economic growth and create jobs.

“Our research on attribution reserve shows that gold, iron ore, gas bauxite and lithium and diamond and the potential of agro-processing and all the arable lands on the country amounts to $2.5 trillion.”

“We are determined to bring out every region’s wealth…Ghana will have an economic output of 4.7trillion…We will also create 8 million jobs in a decade.”

“We start by making sure that we invest in all the 16 regions that are industrial, plant to able to able to refine all our minerals and then processing plants to able to process all our agro plants.”
