On November 6, 2022, Ms Ababio was not called to the Bar even though she had completed her Law Program, passed her exams and scaled her interview sessions.
It was circulated that her call to the Bar was suspended after a concerned citizen’s petition was sent to the General Legal Council (GLC). The Council’s secretary told Ama Governor it was alleged that she lacked moral uprightness which was a key characteristics for lawyers.
