Implement Short Report now – NDC Man to Akufo-Addo

A member of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, Communications team who doubles as the deputy Communications Director for the Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfrom Constituency, Edward Mortey, has descended heavily on Nana Addo and the New Patriotic Party, NPP, describing the President as a traitor and his governance style as a disgrace to Ghana democratic enterprise.

The maverick communicator noted that its been a year on after the sad bloody event at Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election violence at the La Bawaleshie.

Mr. Mortey made these assertion on the PM Ghana show on AdoaTV which according to him no lessons has been learnt by the government led Nana Addo and the NPP calling for the immediate implementation of the Emile Short Commission report to avoid any future disaster.

“It is very obvious in broad day light, vigilante’s, hoodlums, hooligans and armed men went over to Ayawaso to unleash violence causing panic and fear on innocent citizens who had the right to vote in that very election.” He stated.

Mr. Mortey describes the White Paper issued by the President Nana Addo is not the better interest of the Ghanaian people.

“Per the Short report one which stated that Double should be prosecuted but he is moving as a free man, the government must collapse the current SWAT unit but as we speak it is still in operation, DSP Azugu must be resign and as we speak he has been promoted to Superintendent of Police and you think we are safe in this country.” He added.

Mr. Mortey also said the recommendations made by Short must be implemented to serve as a deterrent to others in the upcoming 2020 general elections.

“Nana Addo must implement Short Commission report and Ghana will be at peace.” Mr. Mortey said.
