‘In terms of managing the economy NPP has scored zero’ – Said Sinari

The National Chairman of the Zongo Caucus Working Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Said Senari has taken a swipe at the government regarding the current economic condition in Ghana.

He is livid at the level of poverty and the fact that the government is unable to fix the economic challenges.

Even though the government has secured a US$3 billion Extended Credit Facility from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to boost the economy, members of the business community are unsatisfied as the exchange rate keeps skyrocketing.

The former ambassador to Saudi Arabia who was speaking at the inauguration of National Democratic Congress (NDC) Greater Accra Zongo Caucus committee censured the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for destroying Ghana’s economy.

He criticised the President Akufo-Addo-led administration, describing it as the worst and insensitive government to have ruled Ghana.

“NPP will remain the wicked government to have ever ruled Ghana and I say that because of the hardship that the citizens of this country are going through”.

“They have failed the people of this country, and in terms of managing the economy they are zero and that is why I say it is time for change,” he recounted.

Alhaji Senari insisted that the upcoming 2024 general elections is a must win for the NDC and the party has to do whatever it takes to win and form the next government.

He maintained, the NDC is determined to win every single Zongo community in the country on December 7, to affirm NDC’s victory.
