Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, today embarked on a working visit to the Ghana Police Service Headquarters and the Gaming Commission offices in Accra.
At the Police Headquarters, the Minister, accompanied by his entourage, was welcomed with a police parade. Addressing the gathering, he reaffirmed his commitment to transforming the police service, emphasizing the need for continuous reforms to enhance security and peace in the country.

Later, the Minister proceeded to the Gaming Commission, where he engaged with staff and discussed future directives for the sector. He expressed gratitude for the warm reception and assured them of his support in securing a new office space, making it a top priority.

“My visit today is to familiarize myself with the Commission’s activities and understand the challenges firsthand,” he stated. “It is also crucial that we implement measures to prevent underage individuals from participating in gaming activities.”
The visit forms part of the Minister’s broader agenda to strengthen institutions under the Interior Ministry for improved service delivery.
