In 2018 as a result of partnership, the Ghana Trade Fair company, introduced a side-event as a key part of its annual International Trade Fair. The idea is to develop individuals with entrepreneurial skills and offer free training to startups and young business owners in order to grow indigenous businesses.
Last year’s event had over fifty participants. Guest Speakers at the event included Mabel Simpson, mSImps, Josiah Eyison, iSpace Foundation and George Edah a Communications Professional, Writer and thought leader.
As we prepare for the 23rd Ghana International Trade Fair between 28th February and 11th March, we would like to invite the general public, with a focus on entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs to attend this year’s edition of the “the Pitch.”
It is scheduled for the 8th of March at the Main Auditorium of Ghana Trade Fair Company. Riding on the general theme for this year’s Ghana International Trade Fair, which is “Made in Ghana: Globally Accepted”, this year’s edition of the Pitch will focus on two main business factors i.e. financing a Startup and Building a globally accepted Brand. Therefore, the theme for this year’s edition of the Pitch is “Starting a Viable Business: Dos and Donts.”
Speaking at this year’s event is a business coach of over 15 years experience and President of Accra Business School, Bishop Gideon Titi-Ofei, the CEO of FBN Bank, Mr. Gbenga Odeyemi and Miss Sheila Azuntaba, CEO Innovative Microfinance. Others include a coach in modern day business development and marketing strategy and founder of Popout, Maximus Ametoghor, the leader in luxury event planning and a successful entrepreneur, Whitney Boakye-Mensah of InnovationsWBM and Insurance expert, Ebenezer Abeku Onumah.
