The Call Which Benefits the One Called but does not Benefit God makes the One Called a Bastard
It is not enough to just say Yes to the Lord Jesus but to know what he wants from you or what he wants out of your life. Many believe when they accept the Lord Jesus into their lives, nothing more is required of them or nothing more is to be done, other than sitting in church and enjoying the grace of God. Anything that benefits you that does not benefit God is for your destruction. Therefore, whatever you are going through or doing now will determine your eternity either in Heaven or Hell.
There is a call to Salvation from God and everyone that accepts Jesus Christ into his/her life has been given a mandate to arise for the salvation of others. Whenever the Lord calls you, you must be prepared to accept every condition that comes with His call on you and the assignment given to you by Him. God needs you to surrender yourself to him and also lead others to Him.
THERE MUST NOT BE INAPPROPRIATE MOTIVES FOR SERVING THE LORD
People go to Church with motives of getting their problems solved only, serving and working for God with a motive or being recognized or receiving praise.
People attending various programmes and church services for Prophets to see visions for them, which are just invitations to treat.
People want to hear sweet things they’ve designed in their hearts for themselves.
They want someone to expose enemies around them and have them killed.
They labour in the house of God in order to get something in return. Forgetting the greater reward is in heaven.
With all these inappropriate motives for serving the Lord, believers have created an avenue for false teachers and false Prophets to dupe and brain wash them until they are doomed. All of these motives are as a result of lack of good relationship with God, which ranges from spiritual blindness, deafness, dumbness, and all forms of weaknesses.
THE REASONS YOU CANNOT HEAR FROM GOD INCLUDE
The Inability to control your tongue: you often expose every secret God reveals to you. We often exaggerate anything God reveal to us
We are arrogant because of the little opportunity given to us to hear from Him. We are lazy and often abandon what he always reveals to us and we refuse to arm ourselves with spiritual amour. Ephesians 6:10-18.
TO THE CALLED ONES…
Many people believe once you are called, you either become an Apostle, a Prophet, an Evangelist, a Pastor or a Teacher. There are various offices you can operate according to the call of God in your life for the purpose of populating the kingdom of heaven. Either you accept or not; all believers are called by God for various assignments 1 Cor.12:28-30.
There are other numerous offices but few that will be mentioned include:Street Evangelism, going from one street or bus stop to another preaching the gospel of Christ.
Interceders: Praying in secrete places for the believers and children of God.
Watchmen: They give warning to the world, rebuking the world of sin and pointing souls to heaven. Eze.33:1-4.
Writers: winning souls for Christ even decades after their death. Luke 1:1-3.
Administrators: organizing things and making the house and people of God to be in order. 2 Cor.14:40.
Drama Ministers: saving souls through drama ministrations.
Now that you understand that you are called, there are taboos to your call as a Christian. It differs from one person to another.
Some must not keep friends, Some must not wear a particular clothe, Some must not eat a particular meal, Some must not go to a particular place and some must not expose themselves to a particular lifestyle or fashion etc.
