I’ve Accepted Your Apology-Mahama To Multimedia

Former President John Dramani Mahama has accepted the apology rendered to him by the Multimedia Group following a verbal attack thrown at him by an on-air presenter by Asempa FM, one of its radio stations.

The apology which was signed by the Programmes Director of Asempa FM, Mr. Sammy Yirenkyi and Mr. A.C. Ohene, the Head of News and Current Affairs apologized unreservedly over the conduct of the host of the ‘Kanawu’ show Nana Akua Acheampomaa Sarfo-Adu.

“Nana Akua, while presenting one of our shows, dubbed Kanawu used words that were unpleasant to your person.

“As a result, the Management of the station wishes to unreservedly apologise to you on its own behalf and on behalf of the presenter, Nana Akua Acheampomaa Sarfo-Adu.

“Please, be assured that we have taken all the internal measures necessary to prevent this unfortunate incident from recurring”, the apology further read.

The former president reacting to the apology on his official Facebook account wrote ”Accepted” with a photo of the apology letter attached.

The presenter in unprintable words took the former President to the cleaners over his decision to clear weeds in the middle belt of the ‘Mahama’ Road in front of the new Military Cemetery in Accra, Saturday.

According to her, Mr. Mahama carried out his act just for the cameras and he just wanted to trend on social media.
