I’ve distinguished myself as a first time MP – Sosu to constituents

The sitting Member of Parliament (MP) for the Madina Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Francis-Xavier Sosu, has touted his accomplishments as a first-term legislator in Ghana’s Parliament.

Speaking in an interview on the Ghana Yensom Morning Show with Otafrigya Kayire Kwesi Apea-Apreku on Accra 100.5 FM, Mr. Sosu highlighted his legislative and developmental contributions, urging his constituents to re-elect him for a second term.

Reflecting on his time in the eighth Parliament, Mr. Sosu expressed pride in his legislative efforts, particularly his role in advancing a Private Member’s Bill that led to the passage of new laws.

He emphasised his dedication to holding the Executive accountable, noting that he had actively called on the President to assent to bills passed by Parliament.

As a champion of development in his constituency, the MP pointed to his involvement in improving infrastructure, including the grading of roads in Danfa.

He also organised demonstrations to bring attention to the challenges faced by the people of Otinibi and Danfa.

With these accomplishments in mind, Francis-Xavier Sosu appealed to the electorate to grant him another term in Parliament, pledging to continue his work on behalf of the people of Madina.
