I’ve got about 30 policies to my name; Mahama has none – Bawumia
Dr. Bawumia has visited the Eastern, Western, and Western North regions and has engaged religious leaders, Traditional authorities, Youth Groups, and other key stakeholders.
Flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has challenged former president John Dramani Mahama to mention just one policy he has initiated during his tenure as president.
According to Dr. Bawumia, he can boast of giving birth to various policies, unlike his opponent, even as a vice president.
Addressing chiefs and the people of Goaso in the Ahafo region, the vice president mentioned being the brain behind Agenda 111, mobile money interoperability, the issuance of Ghana cards, and the introduction of digital address systems among others.
“If as a vice president, I have been able to achieve all these, it means if you give me the mandate to be the president I will do more”, he said.
He stressed that, the leader of the NDC cannot even mention one policy he has achieved adding that John Mahama has only one term as a president and would not be accountable when he leaves office.
“Mahama has only four years, I have eight which means I can be accountable after four years”, Dr. Bawumia explained.
Dr. Bawumia is currently on a nationwide campaign tour sharing his visions and policies with Ghanaians ahead of the 2024 general elections.
