So, what accounts for the enduring popularity of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama across the world. One of the most important things that is appealing about the former Ghanaian leader is that he represents the change from the outmoded politics that has plagued the continent for decades.

He is a man who wants nothing for himself or his family and does not make his decision to fill his own pockets. John Mahama did everything to change the face of Ghana his four years.

He has no selfish agenda. He is 100 percent dedicated to improving the country.

John Mahama is popular all over the world for the work he did and continue to do for Ghana. He brought stability to the nation. His policies transformed the socioeconomic structure of Ghana. With his great leadership of bringing Ghana to next level, Ghanaians always looked back to their motherland and its progress and truly believed it wouldn’t have been possible without John Mahama. Ghanaians outside the jurisdiction felt safer to visit their home country with his great work, of not only changing the infrastructure but the perfect security network he put in place. Ghanaians abroad felt more connected than ever to their motherland due to the amazing work by John Mahama in the area of economic and cultural development, crackdown on corruption, and increasing security not only on our borders but within the nation itself.

John Mahama created and rekindled patriotism, social awareness, and the importance of giving back to the nation through his tremendous work and motivational speeches. He commands so much respect and admiration of the people all over the world. People just wait to see him and listen to him. And that’s just wonderful. He inspires people to trust in a better future.

People all over the world are fond of John Mahama because they feel and believe that he is an honest man, that he is not corrupt. They know that John Mahama, in office, did not accumulate any wealth for himself and had and has only the interest of the country at heart. People across the globe know that his intentions are the best. People have seen him as a normal human being, doing real social work for the good of humanity. And that I think has stuck with the people.

John Mahama is totally free of corruption. He has the vision and courage. He is an able administrator and he proved that in office. He grabbed the bull by the horn, be it our maritime issue with Ivory Coast, our position on the Israel-Palestine problem. And through the implementation of his visions, plans and initiatives, John showed that he is not just all talk, but does what he says. His vision and leadership is what appeals to all Ghanaians.

To show their support for the former President, thousands of Ghanaians move to wherever he goes to hear him and get inspired by him. He built a huge global image for Ghana by keeping our culture, our values and our integrity intact. With his charming persona and his leadership skills, John Mahama has been accepted by leaders around the world.

I am very intrigued and impressed with what a simple individual who is now a global icon can do. In my opinion, what John Mahama did and doing in terms of corralling fervor of motherland and patriotism across the globe is truly breathtaking. He has awakened that subconsciousness among expats. I believe that a wide majority feels that he is an unprecedented leader.

Barima John Mahama proved and still proving to be an effective leader showing drive and determination. He receives hundreds of this invitations from respected international organizations, world leaders and educational institutions across the world to speak on their platforms and share his wonderful ideas with them. The former Liberian leader, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf was right when she in her speech during the inauguration of Nana Akufo-Addo that world will need John Mahama’s leadership skills and his wisdom.

He continue to play enormous role in processes involved in facilitating the peaceful ending of conflict and retribution in Africa, leads various election observer groups including the famous commonwealth election observer group.
