Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has made a startling revelation about the flag-bearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress and former president John Dramani Mahama, describing him as a good man, who is not fit to rule Ghana again.

He said, there is every reason for the people of Ghana to reject the NDC in 2020 because the NPP government has shown leadership and competence in the area of education, economy, health and several aspects of governance in its three years.

Dr. Bawumia lamented, how sad it was under the Mahama administration were public finances were in a precarious situation and the government had to fall on the IMF for bailout and credibility, in addition to which taxes were increased on many items including condoms, cutlasses and also a freeze on employment in the public service.

Speaking at the Party’s National Youth rally in Tamale at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, December 7, 2019, the vice president also mentioned the freeze on recruitment in the public service, the research allowance in tertiary institutions which were abolished, teacher trainee allowances and many others under John Mahama to back his point.

People say that John Mahama is a nice man, oh yes, he may be a nice man, but he is a nice man who you give the economy and very soon you can not get teacher trainee allowance, you can not get nursing trainee allowance, you can not pay your child’s school fees, you can not get a job to do, agriculture will be declining, electricity prices will be going up, is this the kind of nice man we want?

He maybe a nice man, but he is an incompetent nice man.

According Mr. Bawumia when it comes to the economy we have to say it, the truth may be bitter but he is an incompetent nice man. the presidency is not for nice people, the presidency is for doers, people who can make things happen.
