Black Stars striker Jordan Ayew is starting the second 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Niger from the bench.

Ayew has been in the starting line-up of most of Ghana’s recent games but Coach Otto Addo has decided to consign him to the bench in the game at the Stade Municipal de Berkane.

In comes Athletic Club’s striker Iñaki Williams, who was called up into the squad after injury kept him out the last time.

Aside Iñaki, Otto Addo has also replaced Elisha Owusu in midfield with Anderlecht playmaker Majeed Ashimeru.

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Mohammed Kudus, and Antoine Semenyo are among those who kept their places in the starting XI.
