Joseph Ekuban joins Serie C side Virtus Francavilla Calcio

Ghanaian forward Joseph Ekuban has returned to Italy to join serie C side Virtus Francavilla Calcio. 

Joseph, younger brother of Ghana international Caleb Ekuban, joins the White and Blues on a two year deal from Albania side FK Tirana.

“Virtus Francavilla Calcio announces that it has acquired the right to sports performances, until June 2022, of the 2000 class striker Joseph Ansah Ekuban, coming from FC Hellas Verona Spa,” the Italian club stated on their official website.

“The Ghanaian footballer grew up in the youth sector of the Scala team and played between the ranks of Mantova in Serie D. During this season he wore the jersey of Fk Partizani Tirana, Albanian top flight club.

“The player is already available to mister Bruno Trocini for the trip to Reggio Calabria.”

Ekuban returns to Italy after a torrid spell in Albania where he played only three games this season.
