Joycelyn Tetteh, BKQ Foundation reach Out to Botoku Bladatornu D. A. Basic School

Pupils of Botoku Bladatornu D.A. Basic School, a deprived school located in the North Dayi constituency have benefited from the philanthropic gesture of their Member of Parliament, Joycelyn Tetteh and a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), BKQ Foundation.
The MP in partnership with the NGO donated items such as school uniforms, pair of shoes, books, pens, pencils, erasers and other consumables to the pupils of the school which is described as the most deprived in the North Dayi District of the Volta region.
Bladatornu, predominantly a fishing and agriculture farming community lacks basic amenities such as electricity, access roads, and other essential amenities.
The gesture follows a visit to the by the young and workaholic lawmaker to the community in the company BKQ Foundation ahead of the December 7, 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Hon Joycelyn Tetteh thanked BKQ Foundation for the kind gesture and prayed that someday, the Bladatornu community would produce quality human resources such as Doctors Teachers, lawyers, ministers and presidents for the nation.
Headteacher, of the school, Emmanuel Quist Denutsui was grateful to the MP and the BKQ foundation for the intervention. He disclosed that teachers normally trek on foot several kilometers daily to come to school to impack knowledge.
According to him, the items will go a long way in motivating the pupils to remain in school.
