Reports reaching ghananewsonline.com.gh indicate that the Mankessim-based Obrumankoma FM’s morning show host and head of news, Anthony Abrowah, known in the media cycles as “Kojo Ata Kakrah Abrowah” (KAKA), has parted ways with the station.
Checks at the station revealed that a new presenter has taken over as the host of the breakfast show dubbed “Adehye Nkomo” (Royals’ Chat). It is unclear what circumstances led to the station’s anchor parting ways with the station.
Though deep throat sources have hinted us that KAKA has now joined the Groupe Nduom (GN) family; it is not certain which of its subsidiaries he has joined.
Meanwhile, attempts to reach KAKA to confirm or deny the rumour have proved futile, but his facebook profile still has Obrumankoma FM as his place of work.
Kojo Ata Kakrah Abrowah, prior to his appointment at Obrumankoma FM in 2016, was the Akan news anchor of YES FM at Cape Coast. This was after he had worked with Ahomka FM, a subsidiary of GN, in Elmina, for some time.
This has further deepened suspicions that perhaps the pure Fante speaking journalist and actor might have gone back to join Ahomka FM again.
