Ketu North: NDC Parliamentary Aspirant promises equal opportunities for all

Prosper Yao Ledi is one the eight persons who have successfully filed their nominations seeking to replace the outgoing Member of Parliament, James Klutse Avedzi.

A Parliamentary Aspirant in the upcoming election of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ketu North Constituency of the Volta Region, Prosper Yao Ledi, has promised to create equal opportunity for all while empowering hard working members of the party.

He said, with his experience and maturity in public service, he will be decisive on matters of great concern to his people and reward loyalty to whip up hope among the youth.

Prosper Yao Ledi is one the eight persons who have successfully filed their nominations seeking to replace the outgoing Member of Parliament, James Klutse Avedzi.

Ledi affectionately called Proko is the Managing Director of Proko Ghana Limited – a leading construction and engineering firm in Ghana established way back in Ghana in 1990.

The company has a proven track record of executing and delivering handed projects throughout Ghana as a result of his desire to build a reputation based on performance and in pursuit of dynamic and vibrant career in the ever-changing field of construction.

He was the Site Engineer at Shalom Indusco Complex Limited (1986 – 1990) and a Technical Assistant at DKS Action Construction Limited (1985 – 1988).

Haven gone through all stages in the construction industry, Ledi says he is well-positioned to build long-term rapport with clients by fulfilling their needs and earning their trust through outstanding performance.

Prosper Yao Ledi has a Masters in Project Management from the Accra Institute of Technology (2013), a Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship from the University of Cape Coast (2010), a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (2007).

He was previously the Volta Regional Chairman of the Association of Building and Civil Engineering Contractors of Ghana (2010-2018). He is currently the National President of the association.

He has been a Board Member/Secretary of Unity Rural Bank since 2010

A Technical Advisor of the Association of Road Contractors Ghana (2016-2020), a Governing Council Member of the Ghana Chamber of Construction Industry since 2018, a Board Member of the Sector Skill Bodies Construction Sector since 2018, and a Governing Council Member of the Private Enterprise Federation since 2018.
