king Faisal receives a brand new bus from vice president
The Ghana Premier League side King Faisal has received a donation of a brand new bus from Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
The owner and bankroller of the Kumasi based club, Alhaji Karim Grusah, disclosed this whilst talking in an interview on Happy FM. Alhaji Grunsah confirmed the news in an interview with Happy FM.
“It is true. I have received a bus from the Vice president Alhaji Bawumia. We have received a 39-seater VVIP bus from him. He called me into his office and gave me the bus. He said he has heard a lot about me and decided to help me. We went to show him the particular bus we wanted, and he agreed to get it for us. The bus is 2017 was registered,” Alhaji Grusah added.
He noted that this kind gesture from the Vice-President will motivate them a lot in performing better in the ongoing Ghana Premier League. “This is a great motivation for the entire team for us to do well in the league. We will brand the bus nicely.”
He further explained that the bus was something they were in a dire need of, because their old bus was in a bad condition, and as such, rent buses to play away matches.
King Faisal started the 2020/2021 league season with a defeat 4-3 away o WAFA. They play at home to Aduana Stars next on Sunday.
