Kwabena Adu Boahene and Wife transferred Ghc 49m into a private account – AG
The Attorney General made the revelations at a news conference held in Accra on Monday.

The Attorney General Dr. Dominic Ayine has revealed that the former Boss of the National Signals Bureau (NSB) Kwabena Adu Boahene with the connivance of his wife Angela Adjei Boateng, transferred Ghc 49 million into a private account that he and the wife opened.
He also revealed that the two suspects who were arrested on 20th and 21st March 2025, have also acquired several properties at May Fair (Trade Fair area).

“The massive wealth he has accumulated means that he can buy properties outside, so we are investigating and tracking,” Dr. Ayine revealed.

He added that suspect Adu Boahene and the wife, using the fictitious company called BNC Communication Bureau transferred 7million to an Israeli company for the purchase cyber dfnde soft ware.
He also revealed that the total amount the duo transferred into their personal account is Ghc49 million adding that they used UMB Fidelity and Stanbic Banks for their transactions.
The Attorney General later gave the hint that with the evidence available to them, Kwabena Adu Boahene, his wife and other suspects will not evade conviction.
