Kwadwo Sheldon is a Blatant Lier – NDC
The NDC has firmly rejected Sheldon's allegations, maintaining that the successful Mahama Youth Connect event was conducted with transparency and integrity.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has strongly denied allegations made by content creator Kwadwo Sheldon that he was invited to the Mahama Youth Connect event at Bukom Arena with pre-cooked questions.
Deputy Director of Press and Media Relations for the NDC youth wing, Benjamin Madugu, clarified that Sheldon’s claims are false and that he was not officially invited to the program due to his delayed response to a call confirming his participation.
Sheldon had taken to his X (formerly Twitter) account to state that although he was invited to the event, the organizers wanted him to ask specific questions to former president John Mahama, which he declined.
“You know what be funny about this? They invited me to the Bukom thing on condition that they give me the questions to ask JM..said it’s either my personal question or nah. Be like they weren’t interested so I played FIFA” he posted.
However, Benjamin Madugu, refuted this account with a screenshot of the conversation prior to the event.
“This was the only time I reached out to him for an invitation; we did not have any phone calls or other forms of communication because I called and he couldn’t pick up. And due to his office’s delayed response, we could not extend our invitation to him,” Madugu explained.
Many social media users have expressed shock at Sheldon’s alleged dishonesty and believe he may have made the claims to gain attention and remain relevant. Some have cautioned that those who consume his content should exercise restraint, as he cannot be trusted to provide accurate information.
