The Management and Students community of Atibie Nursing and Midwifery Training College at Kwahu Atibie in the Kwahu South District in the Eastern Region has appealed to the government and other benevolent organizations and individuals to come to the aid of the college as they are currently facing serious infrastructure deficit.

The other program are Post Nursing Assistant (Clinical) and Nursing Assistant (Preventive) Midwifery Preventive.

In efforts to solve these problems, the principal revealed that the school has initiated the construction of a four story building classroom block which is currently under construction is funded with the Internally Generated Fund (IGF) and some money raising by the school to support the project.

Again it has through the Stakeholders Association of the college initiated a 2 story building hostel to house the students as students has no accomodations.

“We are focused on securing our students but we are losing such focus due to the lack of hostels facilities.

“We have no choice than to rent a facility in town to serve as hostel for the school, we need the help to get our children within our confine, we believes after completing these projects we will some how be able to meet our objective,” she stated.

The President of the Students Representative Council (SRC) of the college, Miss Baiden Afua Mary, revealed that they are in serious crises as the college can not boast of a Stand-by Power Plant to provide electricity whenever there is light out, she said the school always experoence half current voltage every weekend which affects the academic work of the college.
