The Chairman of the Daasebre Development Advisory Board, Nana Abra Appiah, has entreated all stakeholders of the Kwahu Kingdom to take advantage of the Ghana State Book Project as they gather and authenticate traditional histories towards the publication of a Kwahu State Book.
According to the Krontihene of Kwahu Mpraeso who was speaking in an interview with Ghananewsonline.com.gh the publication of a state book will serve as a reference material for resolving chieftaincy, tribal and family disputes in the Kwahu Kingdom while making the information available for public consumption and for research.
He revealed that the development advisory board which is mandated to advice the Kwahuhene Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong on issues related to the development of the Kwahu Kingdom has met with the Ghana State Book Project Coordinator to deliberate on the essence of the project and advice the traditional council.
The former Ghana Premier league Board Chair was happy with the success chalked so far with the compilation of the state book. He cautioned the chiefs, family heads, stool fathers across the Kingdom to give a true account of history surrounding their families, chieftaincy and tribes to produce an authentic state book for used by the state.
Registrar of the Kwahu Traditional Council, Samuel Tuffour, who has been key in the collation of the book said the book will be a legitimate reference book which will help eliminate or minimize chieftaincy litigation within the Kwahu Kingdom.
He also appealed to the stakeholders of the Kwahu Traditional council to embrace the project and make it their own by giving a true account of history as received from their ancestors.
