A group affiliated to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has petitioned the Appointments Committee of Parliament not to approve the nomination of Kwaku Agyeman-Manu as the Minister for Health because they believe he is incompetent.
In a press statement on Monday, ‘The Bufalos of the NDC’ which described itself as “Propaganda group” said the former Health Minister and the Member of Parliament for Dorma who is an accountant by profession has not justified his competence in his precious position, and so same must not be conferred on him again.

THE INCOMPETENT HON. KWAKU AGYEMAN MANU SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN A SECOND TERM.
The BUFALOS OF NDC is a propaganda group set up to propagate the good gospel according H.E J.D. Mahama and NDC.
This group established in 2007, has under taken many exercises including public campaign, Down broadcasting, community information Education and others.
The BUFALOS would like to feed you with these facts as you vett the Minister of Health on 11th of February, 2020.
These points are;
We as a group have taken notice of the failure of the Minister of Health in managing of COVID-19 information as compared to the Director General (DG) Dr Patrick Kuma ABOAGYE who has been leading the crusade against the fight of COVID-19.

Secondly, the Ministry under his supervision has totally failed to update the President on the actual data and current happenings on the second wave of COVID-19, which has resulted in the President giving directives that does not correspond to figures.
The Group has taken notice of the Failure of the Minister who is also a Member of Parliament for Dormaa Central as he has failed to protect his fellow parliamentarians from contracting the COVID-19 virus. We hence draw the attention of the appointment committee of Parliament to the poor performance of the Minister Designate for Health in protecting the Honourable House from contracting this deadly virus as the situation has compelled the Honourable House from regular sitings.
Lastly, COVID 19 as a public health crises has exposed the gross INCOMPETENCE of the Minister in managing the health crises which has affected all aspect of the Economy.
In conclusion, we are appealing to the Appointment committee of Parliament to reject the appointment of the Incompetent KWAKU AGYEMAN MANU. The BUFALOS trust the competence of the Minority group of Parliament, Thank you for your attention.
