Lafaa Homowo: Nii Ayi Okufubour I Calls on Youth to Support Him Develop the Community
He also stressed as part of the activities of the Homowo celebration, the history of Lafaa will be explained to the youth in order for them to be abreast with how Lafaa came into been and how their forefathers used farming as a pre-occupation in Lafaa.
The Chief of Lafaa in the Weija Municipality of Greater Accra Nii Ayi Okufubour I has called on the youth of the Community to work hard and support him develop the community.
Nii Lafaa who dabbles as the Weija Asafoatse (Nii Pampanku I) was speaking in an interview with the media in his Weija Palace on Thursday (September 1, 2022) as part of the Lafaa Homowo celebration which begun on 31st of August and ends on 4th September with an all white party.
According to him, this years’ Homowo will be superlative and mega adding that the youth would be taken through skills training by fashion designers and other professionals.
Nii Lafaa added that this is to enable the teeming youth to acquire skills in order to improve upon their livelihood.
He also stressed as part of the activities of the Homowo celebration, the history of Lafaa will be explained to the youth in order for them to be abreast with how Lafaa came into been and how their forefathers used farming as a pre-occupation in Lafaa.
Nii Okufubour I therefore called on all the youth to help him make this year’s celebration a memorable one by participating in the celebration.
