Council of State defending Cecilia Dapaa in her hoarding millions of dollars and Money Laundering;

This claim was made earlier by Hon. Sam George when he alleged that Real Estate developers are used as conduits for Looting Lands and laundering money.

The Executive Secretary of the Ghana Real Estate Developers Association GREDA confirmed that some of its members are indeed laundering money through land and built up property transactions.

Many corrupt State Officials, Galamseyers and crooked businessmen are hiding their unexplained wealth not in banks but laundering money through land transactions.

State Sponsored Stealing of State Lands and Bungalows in prime areas of Accra especially in Airport, Legon, Cantonments and Labone is rife.

The vast tract of State Acquired Lands stretching from the Airport City area including Police and Military installations, the 37 DVLA office, 37 Trotro Station and Taxi Rank are being stolen by faceless persons with the connivance of State Officials and facilitated by the Lands Commission.

Corrupt Government officials, Galamseyers and Crooked Businessmen are laundering money and buying their way to Parliament…

The Lands Minister, Samuel Abu Jinapor has been lamenting on national television that the people who are revered in our society drive around on weekends looking for State Lands and Bungalows with little or no activity then come to his office to pressure him to allocate these prime lands to them, he added that officials of the Lands Commission take files home and falsify the ownership of Land thus rendering records of the Lands Commission unreliable.

The various Political Parties including Independent Presidential candidates must state their official position on fighting Corruption, Galamsey, Money Laundering and Land Looting.

President John Dramani Mahama has promised to establish a Committee of Enquiry into the Looted Stolen State Lands and Expropriation of GaDangme Lands.

Vice President Bawumia as Flagbearer of the NPP as well as Alan Kyerematen and others must in the coming days speak to this vexed subject which will be the Key Election Issue.

The tussle between the Special Prosecutor, EOCO and the Attorney-General who are keen to clear Cecilia Dapaa as earlier posited by their appointing authority, President Akufo-Addo in his ill-advised response to her resignation letter that he is confident she will be cleared despite the evidence cannot become the new normal.
