Residents at Ayensuo Annor have appealed to authorities and security agencies to come to their rescue as suspected land guards are terrorizing them.
The residents have told Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that the suspected land guards used guns and other offensive weapons to threaten them on their farmlands.
The residents who are predominantly farmers say these armed men have threatened to kill them should they step foot on these farmlands.
A farmer Hajia Salamatu, who spoke to Nyankonton Mu Nsem said she was chased from her farm Friday morning on grounds that she was not the owner of the farm.
She indicated her farm produce have destroyed by these persons claiming ownership of the land.
She further alleged that the suspected land guards stormed the area on Wednesday firing guns at them.
The Mankrado in the area said they have reported the incident to the police and the regional security council but nothing has been done about it.
