The queen mother of Mampong Akuapim Traditional area, Nana Akua Pebea, has commended President Nana Akufo-Addo for giving BECE candidates free meals during their stay in school for the period of their examination.
According to her, she has been doing the same for school children in her area over the years and that it is a laudable move for the government to take up that responsibility.
She noted that school children in areas like Obosomase, Tutu, and Mampong have benefited from her initiative over the years.

She said, that was her dream and she thanked the President for doing this for the entire nation.
Nana Akua Peabea appealed to caterers who have been given the contract to endeavour to provide a well-balanced diet for the children.
Nana Akua Peabea who is currently in the United States of America (USA) appealed to the President to continue with this initiative when he wins power come 2020 general election.
