“Moneycracy can’t win us power but rather hard work and unity”
Mr Justice Haroun-Ahmed Alfa Aspiring Ashanti Regional organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has underscored the need for the party going into Congress this year to elect competent, dedicated, loyal, tried and tested National, Regional Executives, who can lead the party to victory in the 2024 Elections.
In an interview with this portal ahead of the party’s National Delegates Congress slated for this year, Mr Alfa Justice reminded the delegates that the party would be calling for defeat, if they availed themselves to be influenced by money and voted against their conscience.
“Moneycracy can’t win us power but rather hard work and unity”
He stressed out that the fight in 2024 was going to be a very Herculean task and NDC, therefore, needed Executives who could mobilize the rank and file, to secure victory for the party without rancour.
Mr Alfa Justice who was once the former Ashanti Regional communications officer of the NDC said, there were gaps and conflicts in the party after the 2020 defeat and caution the Delegates that, to close those gaps, and resolve those conflicts and petty infighting, they ought to vote somebody like him who could link up with the grassroots, resolve conflicts, and bring all and sundry on board for vigorous and effective campaign to ensure resounding victory come 2024.
He further stated that NDC cannot afford to lose 2024, and since elections are won at the branch level, the party needs proven, tried and tested executives who can link up with the grassroots, remain sensitive to their plight, and get them mobilized for victory. Mr Alfa Justice- admonished members and supporters of the party to put the past behind them and work collectively to ensure that the party becomes more united and focused for the battle ahead in 2024.
He pledged that when he emerges as the party’s Ashanti Regional organizer, he would, in all humility, work with respect under the core principles of the party.
