Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, the newly elected parliamentary candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Offinso North, has called for unity among party supporters following the conclusion of the primary elections.

He urged members to focus on the upcoming December general elections.

Addressing the media on Wednesday after his victory, Dr. Asamoah emphasized the need for reconciliation among the various contestants.

He stressed the importance of setting aside any differences that may have arisen during the election period and working collectively to ensure a successful campaign for the NPP in the forthcoming election.

He noted the importance of unity, the exchange of ideas, and crafting the most effective message to present to the Ghanaian electorate. Dr. Asamoah expressed his belief that this approach will secure the party’s continued implementation of its beneficial policies.

The peaceful and smooth conduct of the recent primaries was cited by Dr. Asamoah as evidence of the party’s unity and harmony. He called on members to stay focused on their common goals.

During his speech, Dr. Asamoah expressed his gratitude to the delegates of the Offinso North constituency for their support and trust in electing him as their representative for the upcoming general election. He vowed to unite all party members, especially those who participated in the primaries, and involve them in the campaign activities.

Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah won the election with 378 votes, surpassing incumbent Augustine Collins Ntim, who received 231 votes, and Rockson Kwaku Adu Boahen, who secured one vote. This victory marks Dr. Asamoah’s first foray into the NPP primaries in the Offinso North constituency.
