Let’s Support the Needy with our Wealth – Nana Kwame Aboagye

Nana Kwame Aboagye, a Businessman and Philanthropist in the Savana Region has called on benevolent individuals to extend helping hands to Orphanages, Widows and the Needy because it is a sign of good Christianity.

Nana Kwame Aboagye made the appeal in an interview with Ghananewsonline.com.gh after donating assorted items to the needy as part of his annual initiatives to support the needy in society. It is geared towards helping orphans and widows who he believes need support from the society for a good life.

Nana Kwame Aboagye and his family donated 20 bags of maize, 240 pieces of assorted drinks and a sum of two Ghs2,000 to Sawla orphanages in Sawla and Redemption Orphanage in Damango.

As part of his efforts to empower widows and needy women, he again made a cash donation of Ghs2,000 each to fifteen women groups made up of about 400 women and a woman from Abungakura who was in a critical health condition and needed urgent medical attention.

Speaking at the event, the Philanthropist who is also a leading member of New Patriot Party (NPP) in Damongo called for unity among Polling Station, Constituency and Regional Executives of the party so they can secure another victory for Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo and all NPP Parliamentary Candidates in the Savannah Region.

He believes the NPP is a Godsent party for the poor and needy in this country. He used the Free Senior High School policy (FSHS) as a clear example that has been implemented to help orphans and take away the burden of school fees off the shoulders of widows and other less privileged individuals in society. He therefore called on all to give President Nana Akufo-Addo another four years to do more.
