M.anifest makes emotional return to Alma mater as concert headliner

Ghanaian rapper M.anifest made an emotional return to Macalester College, the University he attended for his undergraduate studies during his youthful days to perform as one of the headlining acts for the 2023 SpringFest.

The annual music concert organized by students of the University saw the likes of M.anifest, Armani White who went viral for his song, ‘Billie Eiish’ and Gully Boys perform to the University community.

M.anifest graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at the Saint Paul-based liberal arts college over a decade ago.

M.anifest performed a list of his popular songs, including ‘Suffer’, ‘Tomorrow’, ‘Game Over’, and ‘Someway Bi’ to the students, who cheered and sang along with the rapper.

Speaking at an exclusive event which was held ahead of the concert, the renowned Ghanaian rapper highlighted his musical journey and his undergraduate days while domiciled in the Cities of Saint Pauli-Minneapolis as a key influence in his music career.

M.anifest joins the late Kofi Annan, former United Nations Secretary-Genera as two of the most famous Ghanaians to attend the prestigious college.
