Madrid Condole with Victims of Spain Flash Flood

The Management of La Liga side Real Madrid has condoled with the victims of the flash floods from the torrential rain in south-eastern Spain.

Meanwhile, rescue efforts are underway with the assistance of Emergency services workers and drones.
In a press statement on October 30, the Club’s president and the Board of Directors extended their condolences to the families and loved ones of the people who have lost their lives in Valencia and Albacete which are the hardest hit provinces.
“Real Madrid is deeply saddened and expresses its solidarity with all the people affected by this catastrophe, to whom it conveys all its full support and sympathy.”
Madrid were scheduled to be hosted by Valencia in a league game on November 2- their first game after being battered 4-0 by Barcelona. It is unknown if this catastrophe will prompt a postponement.
BBC reports that the floods have caused transport disruption with several flights due to land in Valencia diverted to other cities and others cancelled.
All train services are suspended in the Valencia region, the national rail infrastructure operator ADIF said according to BBC.
